Maharaja bhog, synonymous with Best Veg Unlimited Thali in Mumbai and abroad. They have finally started with Unlimited Family Thali in Mumbai. Above all, they are known to serve the best of Gujarati and Rajasthani dishes alike. Their Unlimited veg thali has all variety of options available each day to explore the taste of both states. Maharaja Bhog is my personal favourite when it comes to Thali places. We tried their family thali, a huge Bohri kind of Thaal that can accommodate good 5-6 people. It evokes the sense of belonging and unity amoung the people dining together and also also bring them close.

Maharaja Bhog has multiple outlets in Mumbai, Dubai and USA. Finally, I visited their Lower Parel Branch, located right at the entrance of the Todi mill. It is about 1 kms away from the Lower Parel Station.
The place boasts of royal treatment packed with traditional yet beautiful décor because of which each corner speaks of royalty and is grandeur. The upholstery is all white with a hint of brown, making it premium and Beautiful. Although, the place is spacious, yet full even on a weekday. It’s a proof of the taste and hospitality here. Ashish Maheshwari, the Founder-Managing Director has certainly worked relentlessly for this.
“Atithi Devo Bhava” is the thought that reflects at Maharaja Bhog. They greet their customers with a Namaskar followed by Gau Daan. One of the many ancient rituals of our ancestors that are found in our Indian philosophy. The Sanskrit word ‘Go’ has various meanings, while some of them are: ‘source of food’, ‘symbol of life’ and ‘senses’. The term ‘daan’ means ‘gift’. The restaurant lets you do some Gau Daan; followed by eating some Tulsi leaves.
Maharaja Bhog is all about being close to our roots and traditions. likewise, they encourage eating with fingers and instead of a finger bowl they serve ‘Chilamchi Lota’ (Jug and a basin) to cleanse your hand at the start and end of the meal.
The thali consist of 30 delicious items some of them are mentioned below:
