“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
Before we start with what all is there and what to expect. Let me quickly give a brief introduction about Dapoli, it’s a town in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra, about 230 km from Mumbai. You can drive down or take a Train till Ratnagiri station and then a bus, or take a direct bus till Dapoli, I took the bus, and it was comfortable and direct, reached Dapoli in about 6-7 hours during the night. Mentioning ahead are the 3 Must-Visit Temples in Dapoli.

My Dapoli trip is divided into two parts. This blog talks about the pious places in Dapoli to have a relaxing, holy feel.
Below are the 3 Must-Visit Temples in Dapoli.
1. Kadyavarcha Ganapati
The temple is in Anjarle village not very far just about 27.5 km from Dapoli. The uniqueness of it is that Ganpati’s trunk curves towards the right, a rare sign. The temple area is quite peaceful; What amazes if that there is also a temple of Lord Shiva inside the Ganpati Mandir. Once you take the stone steps you enter the outer side. Here you see a beautiful pond with some turtles. Its relaxing and peaceful where you can easily spend hours. Immerse in the peace and tranquility that the temple offers, I loved the place.
2. Chandika Mandir (3 Must-Visit Temples in Dapoli):
It’s in Dabhol about 27 km from Dapoli. Dabhol is on the south-west bordering the side of Dapoli. On entering the Mandir, there are a few steps following which you see a colourful creation from the mud.
The temple is underground in a natural cave. Further, the Idol is said to have formed naturally, at the back of the Mandir. Also, it is the water source where the supply of drinkable water takes place. Outside the Mandir, you will find many Mango trees, it’s peaceful and not a very touristy spot to visit.
3. Shri Sainath Maharaj Trust and Temple
This is located at Kherdi, about 6 km from Dapoli. It’s not just a temple for Sai Baba, but you would also see temples of Dakshinamukhi Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, Vindhyavasini, Shri Dattatreya, Lord Shiva, and Saibaba. There is also Navgraha (means the nine (Nava) major celestial bodies (Grahas) of Hindu astronomy) on the ground floor. Photography is prohibited here. This is all I can manage here, to give you guys a glimpse.
Overall, these were the 3 Must-Visit Temples in Dapoli.
Dapoli makes you feel close to nature, God, and our spiritual senses, thanks to its tranquil and comforting environment.
