Barbeque nation truly sets the sea on fire, with its Jewels of the Sea food festival, which is on till 18th February, 2018, so head to your nearest outlet, as you have the option to choose from the 14 outlets present in Mumbai. I visited the Bandra outlet located on the Hill road about 1 Kms away from the Bandra Station.
The outlet has fish stickers hanging, with a fish display section, the stewards dressed in a total Hawaii way. Everything at the outlet was inviting for a sea food lover like me.
We started with our Fresh Lime Soda’s, which was proper not extremely sweet or salty with a cherry on top.
Next on our table were the Jewels of the Sea Festival special, Crispy Mandeli (Golden Anchovies) Fish Fry: They were properly fried, golden crispy and totally delicious, for me it was the highlight.
There was also Tandoori Crab, Fish Goujon with Tartare Sauce and Red Snapper, all served piping hot, were flavourful and delicious.
They also have a live counter having Octopus, Indian Salmon, Surmai, Tuna Fish and Pomfret, from which you can choose and have it made, we selected Pomfret and had it freshly fried.
Other things which is almost the same at every Barbeque Nation outlet and a total must haves are listed below:

- Angara Prawns
- Green Chermoula Fish
- Teriyaki Pineapple
- Cajun Spice Potato (You cannot skip this EVER)
- Thai Chicken
There was a widespread desserts like Galaxy Mousse, Oreo Cheesecake, Gulab Jamun, Kesar Phirnee, cut fruits etc.
My favourite from the lot is the Kulfi counter, from which I tried the Kesar Pista and Paan flavours, as they are my all time favourite. You can also try their new additions of Espresso and Kitkat.
‘Jewels of the Sea’, food festival at Barbeque Nation is from 31st January to 18th February. Relish the wide-spread of sea food, from scrumptious starters to toothsome desserts at all Barbeque Nation outlets in Mumbai.
My feeling at the festival can be summed as “I am on a seafood diet, I eat everything I see”.
