The Stables: British Gastro-Pub

Good news for all party lovers, as ‘The Stables’ opened recently in Marol.

It will make your weekends more happening with its live gigs/performances. The Stables is located just 2 mins walk from the Airport Road Metro station.

The Stables

The Stables is an equestrian-themed gastropub that is inspired by the tales of historic horses. Such as Sherghar, Sea-Biscuit, Barbara, Red Rum, and Secretariat.

The Stables

On entering there is a Bar on the left. Which has almost everything under the sun. And further ahead is a dedicated stage for live performances. Also, the interior here has a rustic personality and country vibe.

Quirky Decor

They have a popcorn dispenser right opposite the bar. Which further serves fresh-hot popcorn, ideal for chakhana 😉

The food here is inspired by the West European style of cooking. Also uses fresh ingredients in interesting combinations.

The Stables
Stables Grog

We started with drinks; my friend called for Stables Grog:

A cocktail with rum, pineapple juice, lemon juice, passion fruit syrup, and Angostura bitters.

Pina Colada
Pina Colada

Pina Colada:

The perfect drink to start your evening. Creamy, sweet, and tropical. Further, it has a distinct flavor of pineapple.

The Stables
Classic Nachos

For appetizers we tried the Classic Nachos:

Freshly fried corn Tortillas, sour cream, jalapeno peppers and cheese sauce, spicy and tangy.

Sliders
Slide Sliding Slid

The Slide Sliding Slid is a tender chicken breast with Barbeque sauce marination. And then grilled, enveloped in Romaine lettuce and onion-tomato slices. One of my favorites at The Stables. Though they should avoid incorporating Tomatoes in it.

The Stables
Margherita Pizza

Margherita Pizza:

Like a regular Margherita, it also had a thin crust, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil, cooked in Tomato sauce.

Grilled Chicken Tikka
Grilled Chicken Tikka

Grilled Chicken Tikka:

Chicken Thigh marinates in Indian spices makes the chicken pieces tender and succulent. Further, serve with Cucumber Salad and home-style mint sauce.

Here is what the co-owner of The Stables, Gautam Shetty has to say “Today’s audience is gradually retreating. Moving from the typical party culture to an easier going and relaxed ‘sit-down’ culture. Which constructs or enhances socializing and quality conversation. As they enjoy phenomenal music, food, and drinks,”

Looking for a place to party, drink, or reviving your soul. Then look no further and visit this newly opened Gastro Pub.
