Maharaja Bhog, situated in different corners of Mumbai, gives you the best of both, Gujarat and Rajasthan, their traditional flavors are infused in the Thali which gives you a taste of both the states.
I paid a visit to the Lower Parel Branch to experience Unlimited Best Veg Thali in Mumbai.
It is located right at the entrance of the Todi mill at about 1.2 km away from the Lower Parel Station.

The place is the royal treatment packed with traditional yet beautiful décor. Because of which each corner speaks of royalty and is grandeur. Further ahead, the upholstery is all white with a hint of black, making it premium and beautiful, the place is spacious, yet full even on a weekday, which is a proof of the taste and hospitality here.
“Atithi Devo Bhava” something that Indian takes seriously is truly reflected at Maharaja Bhog.
For instance, they greet their customers with a Namaskar, followed by Gau Daan. One of the many ancient rituals of our ancestors that are steeped in our Indian philosophy. Similarly, the Sanskrit word ‘Go’ has various meanings, some of them are: ‘source of food’, ‘symbol of life’ and ‘senses’. However, the term ‘daan’ means ‘gift’. The restaurant lets you do some Gau Daan, followed by eating some Tulsi.
Maharaja Bhog is all about being close to our traditions. They encourage eating with fingers and instead of a finger bowl, they serve ‘Chilamchi Lota’ (Jug and a basin) to cleanse your hand at the start of the meal. As a result, Ashish Maheshwari, the Founder-Director has worked relentlessly for this
